Only got a couple inches here, but yeah I wish that global warming would stick around a little longer.

Had a foot of snow drop yesterday. I'm currently taking a break for lunch & from cleaning up.  According to the news 50,000 currently without power in the region.  I'm one of the lucky ones, I just lost phone service.  Six of my trees had branches snapped off because of the weight of the snow on the leaves & branches, and one large maple toppled over, luckily it was away from the house.  Guess I better get back to work cleaning the driveway.

We got a foot of Global Warming (excuse me, umm Global Climate Change) last night with intense whiteout conditions.

Here in NE Pennsylvania we got 6" of heavy wet snow.  Snapped a bunch of limbs off my Maple trees.  Got some serious clean up to do
the next few days.  Power was off from 1630 yesterday till 1000 this morning.  The older I get the more I hate this crap!  Had a small propane heater hooked up to a 20lb cylinder, lots of candles and a kerosene lamp going.  We did okay.  Temp last night was 27 and we
had it at 63 in living room.  Not too shabby.  I would have lit the kerosene heater but that bad boy would have driven us outside.  Only use the k-heater when the temp drops below 10 degrees.

It seems that global climate change is highly dependant on location.  Overall, if you are in a warm area, it's still warm, or if you live in a cooler zone, it's still cool and getting cooler.  I'm beginning to lose all hope that global warming will bring the tropics to my PNW digs.

I suppose I could be wrong, but in my experience it is not too difficullt to see that the climate changes from day to day... say nothing about month to month, year to year and  decade to decade..

got about 8 inches of snow where I live in NY. Branches were crashing all over the place. Lost power immediately and ran out of wood for my wood burning stove by the second day. Wife and I moved in with my daughter. Just had power restored today. Sort of enjoyed it as we spent time with the grand kids.

Cant ever remember it snowing on the east coast in October. Weather extremes seem to be happening more frequently, that's for sure.

I know this is going to open a can of worms but are you seriously implying that you don't believe how global warming is possible or that it's nothing but a ruse?
