.243 Stainless Handi trouble!!
« on: November 07, 2011, 02:27:32 PM »
Just picked up a .243 Stainless Handi and some Barnes Vortex 80grnTTSX factory loads.  It is key-holing like crazy and won't hold any better than a 5"-6" scattered mess!!

ANY IDEAS???

THANK YOU!

Mark

usually its to heavy of bullet but i would think the 80 grn would stabilize.my 223 does the same thing with 62 grn boat tails. 55 no problem 1-9 twist. ;D

I would thoroughly clean the barrel and try again with different bullets and loadings...

Let us know how/what happens.
