White House Denies Existence of Extraterrestrials, Modern Warfare Video Game Release Has Life Imitating Art    By Melissa Knowles  By Melissa Knowles | Trending Now – 4 hrs ago

Is there really other life in the universe outside Earth or will it all remain a mystery? The White House has issued an official answer in response to two online petitions (with more than 17,000 signatures) that requested the government "formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race" and
UFO"immediately disclose the government's knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings." In September, the White House launched "We The People," an initiative in which the Obama administration officially responds to any petition that receives more than 25,000 signatures within 30 days. The petitions assert that extraterrestrials exist on Earth and that the government has gone to great lengths to hide that information. How did the government respond? Phil Larson, who works in the WHite House Office of Science and Technology Policy, said, "The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race." The official White House response also states that "there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." One questions remains: Why did the White House respond to these petitions when they were short 8,000 signatures? There were other petitions that did not get a response concerning same-sex marriage, Keystone XL Pipeline, and the Electoral College. At the time of this posting, only the Electoral College petition had more than 17,000 signatures.  It has gained 19,082 signatures so far, and the White House has yet issue a response.
Anticipation is building for Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, one of the most sought-after games in history. The third installment of the franchise is being released today, and the Web is buzzing with excitement. The hashtag #MW3 can be seen all over Twitter as people try to get their hands on the new game. Will Luke, who goes by the Twitter handle @mailliw, tweeted, "The only game I play. Bye bye November #MW3." However, some people have taken their excitement to another level. French news channel TF1 reports armed robbers stole 6,000 copies of the game over the weekend. According to the report, two men armed with knives crashed their car into a van south of Paris. They sprayed tear gas at the driver of the van and took off with the games and the van. The stolen games are said to be worth nearly $600,000. Copies of MW3 on eBay are selling for as much as $1,700. People are sounding off on social media, saying that they're not only stunned by such violence and theft, but they're even more shocked that life is apparently imitating the video game. One person calls it, "A Modern Warfare 4 mission in the making."

If there was such a thing, obama wouldn't know about it.  some black-ops are too secret for the prez.

If there were a species that was smart enough to master interstellar travel I doubt that they would be dumb enough to make first contact with the likes of the Obama administration.

This is something I have thought about and looked into in the past. What I came up with is that if there were or are visitors from another solar system, they would have to travel in a completly different way than we have thought of at this time. The distances are so great and at the speeds needed to navigate them even impact with a tiny piece of dust would be catostrophic.
