I read it on our local news and if I understand it right they claim deer take down about 1 percent statewide. My guess for the nz was that it would have seen a 50-60 percent drop but they claim the buck take was unchanged from 2010, that I will not believe. They did claim antlerless take dropped by 13 percent for the nz, but thats because they cut dmp's in half for this area and there were alot of hunters here who still couldn't fill a dmp because they just weren't seeing anything. They are already trying to convince hunters that it is worth buying a licence this coming year.
