Range Trip with Encore 7TCU

 I wanted a second Encore frame so two months ago I purchased a used Encore with a 15 inch 7TCU and Burris 2x7 for a real good price. My plan was to sell the barrel and scope since I don't need another BARREL! Today the son and I went to the range and after I shot the 7TCU, Brandon (11 years old) says hey Dad can I shoot it? Why sure! WOW (big grin) it didn't kick can I shoot it again? Sure. After he fired 5 rounds he asked if he could hunt with this caliber. Looks like I will be keeping it the 7TCU barrel!

The ammo we were shooting and was for a Tender 7TCU. Didn't soot to bad in the Encore.

Later we headed for the 25yd range to shoot some 38 Specials (cast bullets) in the 357 Mag TC barrel since Brandon and his sister Emily shot up all of the 357 Mag ammo last fall.

Sounds like you had a great day at the range. That 7TCU will work fine on deer, I used to have a 10" barrel for my Contender and it made meat for me with the 120 Nosler BT.
