verizen Hotspot USB adapter?
« on: October 27, 2011, 01:10:04 PM »
Kids bought a Verizen Hotspot(samsung 4G LTE MOBILE HOTSPOT). How do I know what kind of USB adapter I need to connect to my PC? Any experiances welcomed.

Near as I can tell, you don't (unless you mean for powering it).  It has a microUSB port on it for charging the battery, but as far as I can tell that's all it is for.  It doesn't have a way to connect it to a PC by wire, you connect to it with Wi-Fi and it uses the Verizon cellular network to give you an internet connection.

Thanks for the reply. Did some digging today. I can get an adapter for WiFi that plugs in my usb port then it will connect my computer to the hotspot.. But after playing with the laptop using the hotspot not sure if I am dumping my dial up just yet.
