My wife was born in Chicago. Her family moved when she was about 6. She needed a copy of her birth certificate to get a passport. She flew to Chicago to get an "official" copy. She was smart enough to call beforehand. The office where her birth certificate was stored had a fire several years ago. They said they could give her a copy but she had to have two people to verify who she was with signed and notarized affidavits. She obtained those. Well when she got to the clerks office, the clerk told her it would take about two weeks to process and she would have to come back. She explained how she had to fly up there to get it. The clerk said for an extra $50 cash, he could probably get it in about 30 minutes. She gave him an extra $50 and he got her copy. This is corruption at the lowly level of clerk. What goes on up the ladder? Clerks down here would be fired for doing that.
Fact is Chicago has been know for it's corruption and crime, Al Capone, Daily years, etc. Look at what has transpired latey. You drive through Chicago and have to pay toll after toll. It is also full of potholes on the toll roads. Roads either side of Chicago in Indiania and in Wisconsin are much better.
Obama hung out with William Aires who is a known communist and former member of the Weather Underground. Went to Rev. Wright's chruch.
As far as history goes. Whites were more highly developed than Indians in American and Natives of Africa. They were primitive stone age men. Central and South America had civilizations, no gun power, not even the wheel. They also had human sacrifice. Most died of smallpox before the Spainiards could conquer them. 90% of North American indians died from white man's disease. The Brittish didn't allow slavery. They built schools, railroads, hospitals in the area they claimed. They stopped tribal warfare. Even today, the Brittish colonised nations have a higher standard of living than other nations around them, such as South Africa, Kenya, etc. Areas conquered by Europeans were mostly sparsly settled and by stone age men. The Europeans never conquered China or Japan. They had a higher standard of living and much harder to conquer.
From a Christian world view, European where not perfect, but they spread Christianity whereever they went. God obviously wanted this to happen.
American exceptialism is not believed by Obama. Sure we imported slaves, but they were freed. America has ideals as a nation. We don't always live up to them, but we strive to as a nation. Now Obama wants to change that. He wants a European style socialist state.
