Sons get well faster with great fathers, who care for them.  Keep sharing memories with him, I'm sure that he will remember all your love and support when he gets older.

Great bull, Congrats to the young man.

My heart goes out to any burn victim. Looking at your avatar is he a fireman? My dad was for 26 years and had some close calls.

We the general public are lucky to have people that care enough about us to put themselves in harms way the way fireman and LEOs do. If he is a fireman, then thanks to him for his service. If he isn't, then either way, we pray for a full and speedy recovery going forward to him.

He is lucky to have a dad that cares for him like you do.

Congrats to the two of you on a successful hunt and great memories!

That warms my crusty old heart!  It's great to see him out hunting, and I'll bet that buffler went a L-O-N-G way towards healing his insides, anyway.

Wish him the best for me!

What great pictures and a greater story of Bobby's progress, it always warms my heart when I hear of a Dad who "mans-up" and spends special time with his son, or daughters. I do not hunt much anymore but when my son was still living here with us we spent a lot of time, working, hunting, fishing ect. and we have a special relationship even tho he lives in another state now.
God bless you and your son, I know you are a proud father and congrats to Bobby on a fine trophy.

before bobby got burned, he was the kid who played baseball, football, wrestled never really interested in guns or hunting, when he got out in april he asked dad what kind of sports can i do, took him out with my old win model 61, at 18 he shot his first target, then his first rabbit, the guys on the range swarmed over him with encouragement, at the SWF banquet they donated the buffalo hunt, out of all my rifles he picked the 06(hate that gun) he religiously reloads and shoots that gun, but the one thing that sticks out after the kill shot he got on his knee and thanked god, for his life, his dad, and the buffalo, old dad had to cry!
