Spanky to each his own. You have the choice to lay on the couch all day I'll choose to take my kid out and teach them to hunt in a challenging yet controlled environment. The many shades of jealousy....

. Alot of folks don't think high fence hunting is challenging and I was kinda poking fun at that. I guess you didn't catch my brand of sarcastic humor.
Personally I wouldn't hunt a fenced in animal... but I don't begrudge anyone else the opportunity.
As far as laying on the couch all day... I don't even know what color my couch is... I spend all my time working or hunting with my 14yr. old nephew.
I've been teaching him how to read game trails, spot animal sign, how to use the wind and terrain to his advantage, how to make natural blinds, to spot and stalk game, etc.
I would assume they teach "hunters" all that stuff at the ranch don't they? Of course they do... what was I thinking?
Once again... congrats to you and your son. That's a good looking animal.
