new barrel length ?

I'm looking at getting a new barrel for my Remington 1100 12 ga.  I have a 26" mod. choke barrel now that serves me well for most hunting.  I'm gonna get one with the Remchoke system.  The new barrel will be used mostly for turkey hunting.  I don't know if I should go with a 21" rifle sighted barrel or get the 26" vent rib barrel?  What's the difference performance-wise?

I can only shoot 2 3/4" shells if it makes any difference.

THe 21" rifle sighted one would be much more manuverable on a turkey gun. The only thing would be to make sure you got one rem choked so you could use a full or extra full choke.  If you got one with a straight improved cylinder it would cut your effective range greatly.
