Handi vs possum. Not good for possum.
« on: November 24, 2011, 06:03:34 AM »
My wife saw the bald tailed egg thief go into one of the coops and closed the door behind him.  The she came in and told me what was up.  Egg thieving is one thing, but it always leads to grand-theft-chicken.  They can't help themselves, it's a sickness.

  One .38 pill cured him.

Not much of a story, but when a Handi comes in handy the boys on GB don't generally mind hearing the tale.

  Way to go “jlwilliams”!!!

I understand the chicken problems.
Around here we do not have possums, but we do/did have roaming (neighbors) dogs.
We lost a lot of chickens the first few years, but now we have the upper-hand on the situation.
Ever since my wife got her 357 talo barrel a few weeks ago she likes to go out and check her chickens every night by herself now. For some reason I cannot understand why neighbors have been asking if we have seen their dogs.  ;D

Its a whole different situation living in the country versus in town, those same  cute critters in town become destructive varmints in the country. As much as I like dogs and cats they need to be kept in check by their owners, otherwise its open season for me . The same goes for the wild  stuff as well ;D
