First Turkey

I shoot my first turkey on Wednesday.. Scared the heck out of the people in the frozen food  section ... it was awsome

Those are the best tasting ones, and you can keep the wild ones, but the customers do tend to get a little upset!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

Wild ones taste just fine but ya gotta know how to cook them. Shooting frozen ones aint very sporting. ;) lol

I was invited out for Thanksgiving dinner. The young host had never cooked a turkey before. She put it a roasting pan, filled it with water, put a tight lid on it and cooked it for 4 hours. It was the first boiled turkey I ever ate in my life.
The mashed potatoes were good.    ;D
