As hard as it is to resist, i also think that i will buy a 527 in .22 Hornet. I want a rifle that i can reload for and shoot targets at 100-200 yards with good accuracy, longer barrel life than the hyper .22s, and good looking classical wood - and Timney makes triggers and Warne and Talley make rings for them. So, my preference would be the Lux or the Full stock.
I have shot the American, the Lux and the FS in one caliber or another. They were all very accurate.
The advantage of the American is that it does not have iron sights, making barrel replacement easier and cheaper should you ever need. Also, the American is easier to shoot prone, due to the shape of the stock.
The Lux and the FS, however, felt much better to me for offhand shooting, though the shape of the stock made them akward when trying to shoot prone. Their iron sights are very good and useful for shots up to 100 yards, or more.
It's up to your preference.
