Ruger .300RCM and .338RCM
« on: November 02, 2011, 01:39:07 AM »
I've seen some really good deals on Rugers chambered in .300RCM  and  .338 RCM. A quick search for ammo reveals it might already be hard to find, let alone a few years down the road. Anybody have any experience with either of these? I would handload so a lifetime supply of brass would cure the scarcity of ammo. I need one like a hole in the head but.................

I do not see any rugers so chamered in dealer selves up here in Ontaroi Canada . The reason they say is -because they are not selling .
Well If I saw one on a discount , or used ,It would quickly follow me home .( I need one more gun like a another hole in the head )

Well true as it might be , if there is not one to be seen you might not buy one .
Same goes for BMW . No sales here in Central / Northern Ontario , because you got to drive more than five hours south to get to a dealer .

Well the Marlin 308/338 are not selling here either because there is none to be had - though they are fine calipiers .

Buy the gun if it suits your needs Ammo is at the moment not too expensive and down the road you can always reload . Get to the point were you can not get ammo or brass , you could ream it out quickly to the 300 WSM round .
