Ah, the nazi card.

Ever hear,, "Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it" ?

I have heard that old cliche, M-G Willy, and probably used it a time or two. I guess that in this context, then, we could translate thus:

"Any nation with an indigeonous military aircraft industry, that does business with Iran, are bad guys and will shortly be burning jews in ovens" (or somesuch)

But that's just my off-the-cuff guess. What did you have in mind?

I guess I'm more of the -"friends of my enemy is an enemy of mine"- type of thinking.

Understandable. A flip side of that - something not in our interest? - is that we'll end up with far more enemies than is necessary. That "you're either for us or against us!" crap does us no good, in the real world, unless we want to force people to be enemies everyone. I hope we do not.

Brazil is an up and coming power, a very significant power in this hemisphere... no reason to call them enemies, because of who they're willing to have relations with. Most countries in the world have an ambassador in Tehran; we do not.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.
