Savage "Rascal" 22lr

Anyone know of any reviews on the Savage Rascal 22's? Google isnt much help and they dont seem to be stocked anywhere? Looks like the PERFECT .22 for me.

Thanks guys, I have Savage added on my facebook and got their update a few days ago about the Rascals.

Cant wait to see them in the store, they look like a great gun to backpack with.

 I noticed that the rascal only weighs 2.66 pounds..got to be a prime choice for a backpacker..

Yeah I have had my eye on those cheap Crickett rifles for awhile now but wasnt impressed with their quality. I know Savage can do no wrong  :D so I cant wait to pick one up

 If you select the synthetic stock, you have several color choices.  I also assume that the synthetic is lighter than the wood.

It looks about like my cricket.  even though I have a very nice savage markII with 4-12x40 scope, the cricket is the one I usually choose to carry.  2.5 pounds with a 2lb trigger.
so, the savage should be a great gun.
