Charter Arms Pitbull in 40 S&W
« on: December 29, 2011, 08:57:35 AM »
I'm thinking of getting one of these as a woods walking/hiking/house gun to up the power of the 38 Spl.snub that I uaually carry. Anyone have any experience with these new revolvers?  I've used several Charter revolvers over the (along with S&W & Ruger) years and I always liked them.  I've tried several 357 mag light revolvers but would like to try a "big bore".  Also, how does the 40 S&W compare with the 44 Specials. Thanks.

Nope, been hearing and hoping they will have it out in .45 acp soon.  I don't want to start loading .40 S&W as I'm fully involved with .45 acp.  ;)
