Scope base

I have an Encore .22 pistol barrel that I want to put a red dot scope on. Is the scope base for a pistol different from a rifle scope base?

What isn't lining up?  Have you had other scopes on the barrel?

I am not and Encore shooter, so I don't know.  But I remembered when the .22 barrels came out there was talk about an offset in the barrel, and a different diameter barrel for the .22.  I just looked at the TC site and they list a different number for the .22 base.  You might want to look into that.

Sorry I can't help more.  I am a Contender guy.

The scope base is on, but the scope doesnt line up. The square screws on the bottom of the scope dont line up with trhe grooves on the base. I will check on the TC website.

Keith L,  I checked the TC site and think I found it.  It would be nice if they had a chart for people like me that need a little guidance.

File a notch where you want it if it is a one-piece aluminum base.
