What is the difference between a factory box of ammo and a factory "white box" of ammo?

yes laugh all you want I have alway bought walmart rounds for my .22 and my 20 ga. but I now have a .357 sig and walking into new territory.

Winchester sells ammo in a rather plain looking white box that folks refer to as "white box" ammo. It's a bit lower priced but otherwise pretty much the same as the rest as far as I know tho I've never shot any of it.

No crucifications around here for asking questions.  This is a good site for knowledgable information without a lot of bull.  Even those of us with gray hair and beards ask questions that we hope someone know a reasonable answer to.

I shoot the WWWB for a couple of my revolvers.  It is less expensive and shoots good enough for practice etc.  I have never seen any reason to not buy it.
