I have a m77 short action stock and want to put it on a m77 compact short action,does anyone know if this will work ?

if the barrel contour is the same. If the compact has a fatter barrel its pretty easy to open up the barrel channel but if its a standard stock and a lightweight barrel your going to have a pretty big gap

The composite camo stock from my .350 fit just fine,and it has the standard pull.
