TC G2 Price ? - Bought a 30-30
« on: December 10, 2011, 01:16:32 AM »
Just wondering if anyone has an idea on what one would expect to pay for a TC G2 in 30-30. I might head over to a gunshow today and try to haggle on one that I saw a dealer had at the past few shows. I don't know if the gun is new or used though, but it is in great shape.

I always start all of my pricing research by visiting www.budsgunshop.com

They usually have pretty good prices, so I use them as a baseline.

Thanks for the info. I threw caution to the wind and ended up making a trade and getting the rifle. I had a bad time with my Encore so I hope this one goes batter. The 30-30 should be a fun little rifle to shoot. I am going to put a scope on it today. I am going to try to shoot it next week to see how it does.

I hope you like it.

I have a bunch of Encores and have been wanting to add the lighter G2 rifle to my stable. I'll probably pick up a G2 in 7mmx30 waters pretty soon.

I've got a G2 in 30/30 and love it. A T/C dealer was retiring several yrs and had an unbelievable price on it that I couldn't pass up. If I remember correctly, he had enough G2 parts for 3 complete rifles. Looking back, I should have bought all 3. I basically paid for the frame/stock set and got the barrel free.

Picked up another frame with synthetic rifle stock set a wk ago for $300, from a local guy. Claimed to have only shot a box of shells with it.

Good luck and have fun with yours!

Nice find! I wish I had some dealers around here that stocked T/C stuff. I have to order all of mine from the internets.
