I was hoping that someone would respond to this. My pin works out when I shoot too. I don't think that mine is broken, but would like to know if there is something causing this that should be corrected.

Some punctuation would make it easier to read.

A little more information on the frame might be helpful also. Is it an original Contender? Easy Open? G2? Well used? What do you shoot when this happens? That kinf of stuff.
I can't help much with this. It has never happened to me.

The pin worked out because of the sleeve in the trigger gaurd. It has a bump in it to hold the pin in place. The bump usually gets flattened out removing the pin by a punch. It lets the pin flex then it breaks. When my friends broke then mine did also the replacements came with new sleeves. Replace both parts at the same time and you should be fine.

Dave, The little sleeve is a seperate part. When we had our problems it was several years ago. The people working there then always knew what to send to fix a problem. In the very recent past those people are gone and with the change the new people now have no clue. I used to call one of the gunsmiths who is now retired when I needed parts. I met him through IHMSA.
