anyone else canning turkey today.

I make it simple. Fill the jars about 2/3s of the way with turkey then fill to about a inch from the top with canned chicken broth and add two chicken bullion cubes and cook for about an hour at 13lbs. tried it with noodles in it once and it was a mess. Got a swelled up lump of soft noodles. Now i just take it out boil some noodles and ive got soup.

I have wanted to try that.  Sounds like a great way to preserve turkey.  I have been freezing it, but I think I will try this.
