H & R Versa Pak 22/410

I recently stumbled into a versa pak 22 barrel and 410 gun with both barrels.  It looks like a youth set up and that is why I bought it for my son, but he has since outgrown it.  Can anyone give me any information about the combo.  The stock is synthetic and the barrels are blued.

I guess the real question is, can I exchange any other barrels and stocks with this set to make it work for and adult as well as the kids?  Barrels like 243, 280, or 30/30.

Gardner would not fit any other barrels to the VP frame, maybe Ilion will, you'll have to call Madison Customer Support and ask, they'll need the serial number, toll free (866)776-9292. If they do, it will only be low pressure barrels, shotgun and possibly 357 or 44 mag, the rifle barrels you list require an SB2 rifle frame made 1999 or later.

Thanks for the info.  I will give them a call.  How about stocks and forearms?  Are they interchangable?

Yes, all modern H&R furniture will fit all their single shots with the exception of 10ga platforms.

+1 on what quick said, about the barrels and the furniture (stocks & fore ends).

From what I know and from what other members, have posted, I think the only way your going to get barrels for your frame is if you buy the barrels from the H&R classifieds.

If you decide to add barrels, as quick said, only add the low pressure barrels (shotgun & pistol caliber .357Mag & .44Mag).
I caution you that, you alone are responsible for putting the barrels you buy on the frame.  Most importantly, Do Not use high pressure barrels (rifle caliber barrels for ex. .243, .308, .30-06, etc) on your VP frame.
