I would like to take the opportunity to direct anybody with addiction issues to the Teen Challange website.There are about 1100 centers around the world,it was started by David Wilkerson [the Cross and the Switchblade] 50 years ago ,and the Christian based interdenominational residential program runs on donations and is one of the most effective rehab programs in the world.There are both men and women's centers for the 12 month residential program.My son initially went in 5 years ago, graduated and stayed on as staff[all staff are graduates of the program] completed highschool,went on to bible college-then relapsed, lost everything but this tikme knew where to go-back to Teen Challange.He has just finished his ''refresher'' program and is starting again-from the bottom.Hopefully,and with considerable prayer and support-he will emerge a humbler stronger more empathetic person this time.Now he knows what it is like to fail.
I am of the opinion that the drug culture is strongly associated with satanic forces-people take these''recreational'' drugs-loese all control over their mind-and the door is open to demonic forces,which then completely take over their minds.Christ is the answer-the ONLY answer''because He who is in you is greater than he who is against you''But make no mistake-NOBODY can do this on their own.I'm a foster dad, we took in the babies of drug addicts and prostitutes for 25 years, buried a few girls-the devil don't play for fun,he will take everything you have,your money, your health, your self respect and when you have nothing more to give-your life-he takes EVERYTHING and he doesn't gives any change .
