Looks like it should work find , are you planning to stain the cart frame to match the boxes ? That would give it a nice finishing touch forsure .

The cart has ten coats of Tung Oil. I'd rather not stain it because once you stain something like this, all the knicks and scratches show. With a clear finish, every year or two give it a scuffing with sandpaper and a few more coats of Tung Oil and it will look like new.

I was thinking of building something like that for general range trips , just to put a couple rifles & ammo in , along with a spotting scope and sand bags . I like the way the box is tucked between the wheels for added storage too .
