Larger Loop Lever for a Savage 99

Has anyone done this, or seen it.  I have large hands, and with gloves cannot use my 99 in 300 Savage.  If the weather is warm and I can go gloveless (I have arthritis in my hands so gloveless in cold weathr is NOT an option) but during cold weather I just can't use the gun.

I have large loop levers for my Marlins, but the 99 looks a lot more complicated to achieve.  I'd like to keep my original lever as it is case hardened.

I would just grasp the outer/lower strap of the lever with my thumb inside, and stroke it that way.
