Is it worth it?
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:14:27 AM »
I have never owned a Savage rifle, but came across a 93RCVXP (?) in 17 HMR for $180 NIB.  I gave both my handis in 17 to grandkids and wanted another one and saw this.  Are they worth owning?  It has the gray synthetic stock, bull barrel, accu-trigger, and a Bushnell 3x9x40 scope mounted.  ???  Gerald

At that price with a bull barrel, I'm sure you will be very pleased.
The Savage I own in .17HMR, will shoot flower heads off at 100 yards.
Pretty hard to beat.
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.

Thanks guys, Guess I'll get it and give it a shot (or two)  ::) .  Everyone has been positive!!   ;D   Heck, I can't lose over $180.
