Hey Buckweet,
Some years back i sent all of my barrels and actions back to TC and they made the change at a very reasonable price. Give them a call before you do too much. The call or writing can save you a lot of time and effort in the long run.   see ya,     Mark Berry

Yeppers - if you have a newer easy open frame and the barrel is older with the one-piece locking bolts, that's your problem most likely.   TC used to just send you a split set for a call to them, but as with everything else with them that "service with a smile" thing is no more.   Luckily I rat holed a supply of them for my needs many years ago (sorry, no they are not for sale), so I can just do the deed myself.   You'll have to send them the barrel to have the split bolts installed.   If that is in fact what your problem is, they won't need your frame (they don't match the bolts to it anyway).

Hi Tim, been a while since hearing from ya.  Save your money.  The last one I bought with a solid lug had the same problems.  Called TC and was sent a new split lug in the mail a few days later.  Come to think of it, it was another 357 Herrett barrel.

I just had the same problem and  T/C stated they had no parts to sell me and I was told it would be a couple of weeks but they did offer to do the warranty replacement of a set if I sent my barrel in . I did not want to ship my barrel so I have to wait . I did not like the attitude I got from there customer service dept , It sounded like they were haveing a bad day but i dont know if thats every day ?
