has any one made 6.5 remington magnum brass out of 350 remington magnum brass???

I haven't..heard it can be done. someone makes a case forming die (redding I think). Bought mine from Graf and Sons.

Redding's tech folks are all shooters and reloaders so a call to them might be the best bet. They ought to be able to tell you what the total process would be. Lloyd is correct in that you'll need to either neck turn or neck ream the brass.

IMHO unless you have a supply of 350 mag brass, using 6.5 Rem form & trim dies and 7mm Rem mag brass would be cheaper in the long term. It would be far easier to get brass too. You may still need to ream the necks.
