Rossi Model 70 ?

Greetings,
 
I just purchased a Rossi Model 70 .22 for the trapline.  Nice little revolver the only issue is you really have to crank it back to cock it in single action to get it to stay back.   
 
With the exception of a long trigger pull there are no problem when firing in double action.
 
Any ideas?
