H&R and other retailers carry the Lyman 17A globe front sight, the only rear sight they have now is the WGRS peep($25 shipped) unless you have the barrel drilled and tapped for the WGOS which they carry. The only open sight I'm aware of is the Smith ladder sight(long range sights FAQs), some have used the 1895 Krag sight.

Is yours missing the sights? Does it have the front dovetail in the barrel?

Both the 45-70 and 38-55 accessory barrels came witout sights, so it's not unusual to find them that way. Same with the Wesson & Harrington 38-55 and 45-70 complete rifles, no sights.

If they're in stock, yes. Part number for the rear sight is on the retail parts page in the FAQs, you can PM Brian for the front sight part number and price for the 45-70 BC, they've always used the same sight on both of them, the Lyman 17AUG. http://www.buffaloarms.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=160915&CAT=4072

You may want to consider different cards for the front sight too. http://www.buffaloarms.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=156893&MANF=1016

Depending upon your intended use, the globe front may not be what you want. In my experience, the globe is a fine sight for target work, but in the real world, hunting context, with different light conditions than one gets at 'the range'; ie, early or late, heavy overcast or water, in various forms, falling out of the sky, switchy woods light, etc., you can 'lose' the front sight.
One of mine is with the peeps, and is my 'match' rifle, though currently it has the rear peep removed and an ext. adj. scope mounted.
The other has the rear peep and a front hunting small dia. bead sight, which works the best for me as a hunter. I have a Williams open rear I have considered putting on so all I have to do is put on a scope rail if I want it scoped also; an easy switch then between sighting options. Truth is though, that the rear peep with that front bead works great.
If I only had one 38-55 and wanted it for hunting and some light target shooting I would go with the bead and just tape a shader on for a match.
But thats just me.......YMMV
