.22 rem jet

How long did h&r make this rifle barrel? Is it considered a useful round? Is it sought after? If so, what is one in good condition worth? I have a Topper JR model 490 receiver and found a .22 jet barrel that fits it. But the dude wants $200! Sounds too pricey.

These are pretty rare and I've paid up to $150 for a regular barrel. It might be a bit high, but if you want that round, it might be worth jumping or trying to talk em down some.

I bid on a barrel several years ago, when it went over $200, I quit, it sold for $250 IIRC.
