10 Gage 32" Full. Can this be cut back for a Turkey Gun?

I've got a old SB1 10 gage 32" full that I used years ago for geese.  The gun is in like new condition but just sits in my safe these days, as I don't hunt them anymore.
 
But I am considering doing some Turkey hunting.  Before I spend a few $$$ for a dedicated turkey gun I am wondering if my 10 could be easily converted to a decent turkey killer. Any thoughts much appreciated.  Jim

rather than cut it back, I would weld on 4ft of pipe for some extra weight.
I shot a double barrel many years ago, can't imagine shooting a light single barrel

it would probably work great as it is...............if you cut it down, you loose tha choke.
but them you could have it threaded for choke tubes.....

LIGHT it ain't .  I hadn;t thought of using it as is, its really long.......then again it would really reach out there wouldn't it.  Thanks for the suggestion.  Great old shotgun by the way.....once you get past the recoil .

They don't kick as bad as 3 1/2  12 ga and pattern better

I have a newer H&R 10 ga that I bought a extra barrel for. I have one barrel that is 36 inches long and full choke, works very well for turkey hunting and has a good tight pattern even at 40 yards. The other barrel was a 28 inch that I cut down to 18.5 inches doesnt pattern well but you dont want to be within 20 yards of it   BTW the recoil isnt as bad as you think even with 3 1/2 slugs
