Hey 777,

     Let's have a cold one and end that other thread.  We will see if White survives with the present group or hopefully with someone new who has better business sense.
     My vote is for Wicked Ale. :D

I agree Golfnut. There are plenty of entrepeneurs in this country with deep pockets. Many of those wealthy sorts have interests in guns. If White is forced to sell, somebody/some alliance will gobble them up & pump some fresh blood, guts & money into it.

White Rifles are top-tier in quality. New ownership may not maintain that same concept & expand the line to compete against middle-tier priced rifles like most Thompson, Winchester and Knights. Lord knows we don't need any more low-end manufacturers.

Ya' never know these days. New ownership may introduce White sidelocks, fall & break-open actions. They surely could use a boost in distribution... that's for sure.
