There's a really excellent documentary on Florida called Cracker Crazy. You can watch the whole thing via youtube. Really well done, and lots of interesting Florida history, including the origin of Crackers as a population, Indian history, business history, exploration history. Well worth watching. Starts out kind of weird, but it's definitely worth watching if this sort of thing interests you.
