I still have my first compound bow,bought in 1978/79i recall.allen brand,wood riser,narrow fiberglass limbs,been bow spray camo.has anybody had one like this.? the camo is after market ,spray paint made for bows. how can i  remove this paint? @ any value to the bow?

I remember wanting one of those pretty badly about 35 years ago. I also remember the paint you are describing. It was supposed to come off pretty easily. I would start with alcohol, or maybe mineral spirits , progress up to  lacquer  thinner as a last step as it could remove the finish all the way to the bottom or even attack the limbs, though I doubt that.
