Bear season.

It started yesterday, has anyone heard of any taken?? This bear season is the pits in a way. Started in 09 with no bears taken. Only 2 taken last year, seems they wait til most are denned up for the winter to open the season, no chance of an overkill for sure.  POWDERMAN.

Jsuit checked KDFW website and 4 bear were taken. 3 male and one female. Here's the link to telecheck info on their website.

TED. Thanks. I only get the  Sunday paper and news isn't going to say anything about the bear hunt. I appreciate the info. One was seen by a neighbor about 1/2 mile West of me last spring but I've seen nothing. POWDERMAN.

i used to have a small one tear up my trash before i moved about 6 months ago. i was going to try the bear season this year, but between just starting a new job and my rifle being in poor condition after i got it back i wasnt able to try it.

Come to eastern nc, I carry a 40 S&W  when i go out to scout stands and have to be careful where I step to avoid cleaning their crap
Off my boots when I get home.

wow, bears with dogs! that would be more fun than bass fishing with bikini models!
be curious to see the stats on the bear take during the dog season if they get it.they must really be having some probs with the bears to allow dog hunting as yes the libs absolutely hate it.
