Here are some groups that I've been getting out of my Encore in .454 Casull. All are handloaded with Starline brass and CCI BR-4 primers.
370 gr.cast GC 12 gr. Unique, 50 yds

320gr. cast GC 27 gr. H110 50 yds.

255 gr. Keith PB 10 gr. Unique, plinker load 50 yds.

355 gr. LFN GC 21.5 gr. AA#9, nice accurate, moderate recoiling load

Those are comforting groups. My 454 barrel just came about 4 hours ago. Tomorrow morning is gonna be about -8 degrees F, but I just don't care...I'll just be breaking the barrel in..no groups until Sunday. BTW, did you have a scope on it?? I wanna keep the iron sights on mine.

Yeah, I got a 4x Leupld EER scope on my barrel. I have a degrading eye condition that requires me to wear hard lenses and I have a very difficult time shooting iron sights, peep sights are ok, but not really much of an option on a pistol. I didn't post my hundred yard target, I'll get that up tomorrow, it's a nice group with my 320 gr./27 gr. H110 load.
