The REVOLUTION that Could have been . . . .

The hand checkered, curly maple stock adds a touch of richness to this hand engraved inline, with permanent Silver Disc technology that allows no internal blowback, and has design life-cycle of 10,000 shots minimum.

A tribute to both the Old West and timesless functional elegance, the 1" accuracy guarantee breaks new ground for an inline muzzleloader.

I still think it's a lever-action Browning BAR in .270 Winchester.

Some will prefer the oil finished, Grade II walnut version-- with the wood selected for its distinct mineral streaks, and a touch of fiddleback. An optional engraving pattern is depicted; it is a deep relief cut conception being back the silver spurs of yesteryear. Optional indigo inking can be ordered hand applied, cut backing backing to accentuate the three-dimensional effect.

A proprietary French greyed metal finish is another functionally elegant option, applied over electroless nickel plated 4140 Chrome moly heat treated barrels-- with color-matched French grey silver metal jackets for the enthusiast with a sense of passion and style.

What brand is it? Is it in production or is that why it could have been?
Thanks

The Revolution is a Knight muzzleloader that is coming out for 2004. As far as I know it looks like the rifles pictured exept there is no engraving. I'm also not sure on the wood stocked one either.

Has anyone gotten to test one of these yet? Does it work like the encore? I am looking to sell my encore and have been leaning towards the savage, I wish that somehow I could modify it to put a left hand bolt on it. I have always liked savage but I am keeping my eye out for new muzzleloaders. When do the new normally get introduced? Should I wait until mid summer before buying to see what the manufacturers are going to offer.
Thanks for the help in advance

No. It's Knight's answer to the Omega.

At the SHOT show. Usually in Feb/Mar I think. I'm not 100% sure when.

You should know by March at least.

The gun depicited is known as the "Greenfield Concept Rifle." It does not exist.

The clunkier-appearing Knight Revolution is scheduled to ship in March.

What range is the accuracy for? Does anybody have an idea on what price range they are shooting for? Looking a little closer you can tell that it has the rolling block look. That looks like an easy gun to clean and that is always welcome. Thanks for the info. I could not find it on the Knight website, too soon I guess.

Sure is a slick rifle. Dont see many with real wood anymore. What a shame.

Randy, we've got the market.  Now we could just fabricate a dealer list, add non-existent options to our "let's pretend" website, and take orders.
When we get enough order deposits, we'll head for Rio.   :)

Just kidding guys, just kidding!  Nobody would do anything like that, would they?

So does it have a safety on the backside of the trigger guard? And the usual question of who has one or tested one?

It is a cross-bolt safety, as you can see in the photo. I know of no production model tests.

The "GCR" is prettier and easier to carry.     Where do you put your fingers on that pistol grip?  Or is that just for looks?   :-D

Who knows? It may be far more enticing in person. As it is, it is still one of the few models that appears to be remotely new for 2004, and a divergent type of rifle from Knight.

The chance of a "Red Plastic Jacketless" upgrade always exists. Knight has been known to offer a few "upgrades" in the past.
