My wife is pregnant with our second child, a boy.
On Friday, her BP was running higher than normal and her OB doc ordered labs and another ultrasound. All is well with baby boy, but the doc wants to deliver him 2 weeks early now. He doesn't want to risk my wife's BP getting any higher. I'm excited to have more time with him before I leave for another deployment, but have some concern about delivering early. She will be 38 wks on the day of delivery so it isn't all that early, but still.... This news has set us back a little because of being so far away from our families. Both sides have plans to be here in a few weeks for the expected delivery but now are scrambling to find flexibility in their work schedules to come earlier. Also our families were bringing some baby supplies that now we have to purchase ourselves due to them not being here in time. I suppose in about 5 days this will all be old news and "water under the bridge".
On a comical note
, I want to give him the middle name of
Rim, especially for
some one member here.
Please throw an addendum in when you're talking to the man upstairs for a healthy delivery and a strong baby boy.
Thanks, Dinny
