Peep Sights on 10" Contender barrels?

Going through my Contender sights collection and found a brand new Ashley peep sight for Contender barrels. Was wondering how these might work on a 10" Contender barrel!
Any members out there have any experience using a peep sight on a short barreled Contender? Pros and cons are appreciated.

I have it on on a 357 max 10" and I like the peep just fine, although the front blade can fill it up.

My 10" octagon 357 reamed-out barrel has a Williams WGRS peep rear w/green dots and a red fiber optic I installed on the front sight with epoxy.  I like it.
