I didn't really know where to post this thread....it was either here or in the ammo classifieds. If the moderators feel that it should be moved to the classifieds, please feel free to do so.
I was recently given a box of 375 Winchester ammo. The box appears to be about 10 years old. Two cartridges have been fired and two others appear to have different bullets in them as compared to the rest of the other 16. I don't know anything about this ammo; Are 16 factory loads and two re-loads? Are 18 of them all re-loads? Are the two unidentified loads factory loads from another manufacturer?
I have no real use for this ammo and instead of sitting on it, I'd rather sell it off or make a trade with it. My issue is not knowing if these are re-loads or not. I would NEVER recommend anyone shooting ammo of unknown origin. With that, I wonder if I should pull the bullets, dump the powder, pop the primers and then sell this as parts OR just sell it as is. I've never shipped live ammo before so personally, it would be easier for me to just ship as parts but I'd hate to destroy ammo that perhaps someone could use. This stuff isn't cheap either.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
