RB breechblock ??
« on: April 19, 2012, 10:37:51 AM »
Hey everyone, again thanks to all who helped on my last question about this gun, got a new one. The breecblock has a pivoting part on its top that is somehow connected to the firing pin. If no shell is in the chamber and you push on the firing pin sticking out the back of the block this little lever?? sticks up, if the firing pin is  in the block this lever ?? is flush with the block top. My gunsmith didn't know what it is and I really don't see what it could be for. I've looked up Rollingblocks and have never seen this on any pictures. Any ideas?? Thanks, Peter

It's a loaded chamber indicator of sorts. If you notice when you cycle the breechblok that thing stands up, when you drop the hammer on the firing pin it goes down.
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....

Thanks Ranch13, I guess it would do that I just never really thought of a need for it but yet I can see it now. I was just wondering why I've never seen it on any other rolling blocks or pictures of them?? Peter
