Yesterday I got the Burris 3-9X40 and free spotting scope in the mail. Today I sent them back. There was nothing wrong with the scope and I believe it would be a good one. But, the spotting scope was do-do. Neither myself or my son could could get it to focus. If you did pick up a fuzzy sight picture and then just barley moved your head it was gone. I have an old 25 year old Tasco cheapo that is much better. When I'm on the range I don't want to have to fool around with a hard to use spotting scope.
