I'm loading .45 Colt with Reloader7 and would never go back to H110 or Unique for my carbine loads. ...
I am sure there may be loads for a .44 that'd be better with slower powder too.
Ya know, some time back, when I was just getting into reloading for handgun cartages, ol' Graybeard told me all I needed was Unique and 2400. In the years since I have never found reason to question that advice. I have added H110 for my 500 hi-ebber!
But, never being one to let well enough alone, your comments about Reloader 7 interest me.
I have a M92 in 44 Mag. and a '73 in 45 Colt. Both have 24 inch barrels. Do you think Reloader 7 would be an improvement, velocity wise as I don't think the accuracy or my hunting loads can be improved on, over 2400?
Oh, I do try to keep my max pressure down to about 18K psi in the '73.
