MePlat,
 Thanks for sharing those songs!
I was raised in a home where gospel music was a big part of the family life. In my younger days my daddy sang  in a quartet on the radio for awhile. He had a great bass voice and was very talented in gospel music and other types of music.
In my youth went to alot of " Gospel Songfest" which featured alot of professional quartets, S tatesman, Florida Boys, Blackwood Brothers,Jordanaires( sp?), Stamps, Stamps Baxter, etc. I attended a singing school in Dallas, Tx sponsored either by the Stamps or Stamps Baxter school of music.
I still think my favorite quartet was the  Statesman!
