weaver classic spotting scope 15-45x65

anyone used one of these, http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/spottingscopes/  I can get one at transfer cost  and am wondering if it worth that much even,
I would love to have a high end swaro or nikon but I can afford a standard weaver.
good spotters are worth every penny, bad ones arent worth going over to a buddys house if hes giving one away. (former redfield 30x compact user)


haven seen any on shelves to check out or seen any good reviews on the net for them and am hoping for some feedback

No idea about this new model Weaver.   Did have an older model Weaver once that was OK and serviceable.   Like my vintage Weaver rifle scopes, that spotting scope had great glass.
 
Have had others, but still prefer my green crinkle finish Bausch & Lomb 30X60 though, along with its vintage B&L Professional tripod (that would hold up a Mac truck steady).   It has great glass and is easy to transport in its hard side case, but also probably in part because its the same vintage as I am, 1949, yet its still almost like new.   It sure has held up better than I have.   :( ;)

my wife works for ATK and gets a substantial discount on their products weaver,speer,rcbs, to name a few. gotta love a woman who buys you bullets. (cant get alliant powder tho, darn it) and I figured with the discount it might be a good investment.
I need a spotter to spot shots at 300yds.  any decent spotter will do that much but theres nothing out there on this model. yall help a redneck save some cash, if anyone knows of a review of this model let me know.
