Well I went out and shot the 204 today.
Key holing big time.40 gr.V-Max over 30 grs. of BLC-2.Haven't tried the 32 gr yet as they just came in today. Was hoping to get the heavier bullet to shoot good??These things were slapping the target sideways at 25yds.Anyone got a solution? Thanks,Dave

Slug the barrel, one member had a defective barrel, wouldn't hurt to send a PM to get Brian's advice.

I have a TC Pro-hunter barrel that does the same thing with 40gr V-max's. I found that the Hornady 45gr SP will stabalize in it but the longer 40gr V-max bullets will not. You should be fine with the 32 grainers, and if you want heavies go with the 45gr SP.

I wish you'd have kept that stuff, it's hitting us now. Supposed to be 17 degrees tonight with 25-30 mph winds. It's going to make coyote hunting in the morning pretty miserable!
FWIW, my .204 shoots the 40 gr. V-Max just fine, I guess I got lucky.
