Ruger Service
« on: March 28, 2004, 12:37:58 PM »
Cleaned the Mini-30 two weeks ago and discovered that one of the three little tabs on the front of the forearm liner and stock cap assembly had broken off. Had about 3200 rounds through the rifle. Wrote Ruger, they sent a new part (free), and the firearm is back in service. The new liner did make the rifle shoot lower, so I adjusted the sights and after 150 rounds I now consider the rifle back in service.
